Bardia National Park

One of the largest and least explored by adventurous travelers is located in the remote Far West Terai in Nepal. The possible reaching there is by cruising on a bus 12-13 hours from Kathmandu or taking a 90 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and a few hours Van drive. This is the only national park with a large territory of Royal Bengal Tigers and a huge river - the home of the fresh water dolphin. Of course its flora and fauna are worth exploring.

Itinerary in Details

2 Night 3 Days Itinerary

Day 01:
On Your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambasa Stand our staff will receive you. You will then be transferred to our Lodge where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programmes for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.
15:00: Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn morn about the life and Lifestyle of the Tharus.
20:00: Dinner

Day 02:
06:00: Wake up call
06:30: Breakfast
07:30: Elephant Ride. (For an Hour) An excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the Elephant Back and to see the Wildlife of The Park. Visit to Visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center & Tharu Cultural Museum.
13:00: Lunch
15.00: Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.
20:00 : Dinner

Day 03:
06:00: Wake up call
06:30: Breakfast
07:00: Bird watching. An excellent opportunity to see a great many species of birds found in Bardia. Visit to Karnali river for Dolphin sightseeing.
12:00: Lunch
13:30: Departure for onward journey.

07:00: Visit to Karnali River for Dolphin sightseeing.

09:00: Rafting start. It is Wild Sightseeing Rafting, this programme has been introduce to show you the wildlife from the different part of the park, will be stopped in more then 3/4 places and will be taken inside the jungle for the wildlife. An excellent opportunity for bird watching. Pack Lunch will be provided.
20:00: Dinner
